Nanny Diaries: While the Cats are Away, The Mice will Play!

This month has been crazy busy, but lots of fun. Monica and Dan were out of town twice, so I had the privilege of watching the twins morning, noon, and night. Here was some of the activities we were up too...
(FYI...Luke is the Blonde and Jake is the Red Head)

The twins loved putting on their mom's shoes and walking around the house. They just thought they were so cool!!

One of my personal favorites...Show and Snacks in the Mini Van. After we would return from an errand, most likely target, the boys would want to stay and watch a show in the car. Fine by me... I would give them some snacks. By doing this, I would earn about a 30 minute break to get some of my stuff done. It was a great trick for me and the boys loved it.

How cool is this!!!! It was a bounce house that we set up in one of the rooms. The boys just loved to lay down and look up at the ceiling. It was their own personal fort.

You can't go wrong with a swimming pool!!

On one of the trips I had their older brother Andrew for a couple of days. This was after his last day of school. I took him to Rubios to celebrate him becoming a third grader and leaving second grade behind.

One of the biggest adventures we had is not photographed :(. I brought the twins up from Walnut Creek for Father's Day. I wanted to be home with my dad and family so they came with. They had fun playing on Tami's Trampoline and seeing all of the animals at my house. It was fun letting my family get to know the twins. I talk about them all the time, so this gave them a chance to experience everything.
I truly love this job. Although it can be challenging at times, there isn't a more rewarding job. It is amazing how a simple hug or kiss from them can erase all damage they have done through the whole day.
