The White Shoes...

I know! I have NURSING SHOES...haha
I started clinicals today...really early today...like up at 5AM early!
(Notice it is dark still...this is already after we drove a hour to our clinical)
But I should be grateful because Rachel and I were going to have to get up at 4AM...which just doesn't work for me at all.
So half of my cohurt is on Wednesday clinicals like I am.
Mike and Erik are in the back. Then starting from the right you have...Katie, Mary, Jen, Rachel, and my instructor, Shelly.
haha...this sign makes me laugh.

I got through clinicals today. It was a little nerve racking. There is just so much information you need to know. And in clinicals you get to see the nurse apply all their information and you are like...wow...there is no way I can know all that stuff. But they keep telling me it comes with time. So I keep praying that is the case for me. All in all...I still love everything I am learning!

Experience of the day...
This guy waved for me to come closer. I thought he was going to whisper something in my ear, so I bent down. He looks down and then at my face and goes..."I am not trying to look down your blouse" and then points to my stethoscope. I didn't know I was giving a show and I still don't know how since the v neck goes really high but ok. Then he goes..."That was rude of me...I probably shouldn't of said that."...and looks down and back up again. haha I laughed.

KatieLuv is 20!!

I can't believe I met Katie a year and a half ago. I have been so grateful for having her as a best friend. I can talk to her about anything, any time.
It was Katie's Birthday on Tuesday April 13th. I kidnapped her during a break at school and went to lunch. You see, Katie is experiencing a triple wami...Last day of class was on her birthday....she has finals starting Friday...and a talk to prepare for Sunday...FUN!!
So for her birthday she really wanted to go play tennis. I don't know what it is about tennis, but Katie is addicted. So McKenzie, Kensie, Taylor, and I went with her at night. It was tons of fun, even though my tennis skills are about the same as my flirting skills...in need of lots of practice. Hopefully I can improve on both. :) After some tennis, we decided to play line tag on half of the tennis courts. It was so much fun to act young running on painted lines. But the best part was hanging out together. We have all been going in some many directions, just playing with the girls is difficult. It was a blast laughing and just having fun.
Afterwards...Katie's Parents, Bruce and Connie, bought us pizza. We picked it up and went home to consume all the calories + some that we tried to run off. SUCCESS!!

HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY KATIELUV!!
It was only 20 short years ago when... :)
