After this horrible quarter I had the wonderful pleasure to drive home immediately after my final on Wednesday. The best part was only my dad and I knew I was coming home. So I was able to surprise my mom for her birthday and my other family...well, just for fun.
HAPPY 53rd BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!

For her birthday we went out for breakfast at IHOP in Folsom.

Parker loved the Chocolate Chip Pancake I gave him

By the smile on his face...he didn't have to read the calories before eating that delicious treat.

Mom had a Pre-Op appointment so we went to the park to entertain Caden and Parker.

Caden really wanted to get into the fountain. After Ashley said "no" because he didn't have a swimsuit...understandable reason...he just sat and stared at the fountain. I couldn't take it, so I became the favorite aunt. :)

His diaper was so full it kept falling off. haha
He was just so happy

After the park...Tami, Mom, and I went to get our nails done.

Mom paid for mine because it was a bribe ;)
These nails are the best. The nail polish is a gel that hardens so it doesn't chip.
They last a couple of months. I just love them.

...Kids just sleep so cute...

While I was home I got to spend a lot of time with the kids...so fun.

Caden is obsessed with Bumpa's Tractor

Tami, Bryan, Ashley, and I renewed our love for playing cards.
Rook was the main game we played, but the conversations made this game even better.
"Length not Strength"

I have missed Caden so much since he moved out her. I loved seeing my pal again.

Weston is so artistic and made these amazing glasses for the kids conference sunday.

My last day :(

Mom, Tami, Ashely, Evan, Caden, Parker, and I met for lunch at LaBou.
I just love hanging with these people.

That night the girls went to a movie.

The best part was the theatre was all ours!

We had so much fun hanging out that night.

I am so glad I was able to come home. I really needed this break. Even though I got really sick during the break that wiped me out, it was fun just hanging with the family.
...MY HOME...
My home has always been a special place for me. I always feel safe and loved here. It isn't the house that makes this home for me though, it is my family. They are my best friends and the people I rely on the most. I am beyond grateful to have them in my life.

I love being surrounded my trees and rolling hills.

Out the back of my house

Our deck...where future gatherings will be heled.

It looks bare because it is being remodelled
!!THE FOUNTAIN!!

My dad decided he wanted a fountain couple years ago, so he got one.

My mom has been working really hard on the landscaping. It has always been her passion and she is amazing at it.

She has a definite green thumb and is trying to pass it down...this is my section (below) I helped her with.

And Evan...well...he is just always looking for something mischievous to get into.

Seriously...beautiful
Thanks for letting me come home Dad! :)
